FAQ’s

  • Do you except foreign licenses, ORV certificates, or learners permits?
    • Yes, Absolutely!  
  • Do you offer insurance?
    • No, we do not offer any insurance.  You must have full coverage insurance which includes comprehensive and collision coverage (fleet insurance is not acceptable).  If you do not have insurance or the required coverage, you can still take a jeep tour!
  • Do we need car seats for our children to take them out in Dunes?
    • Yes, if you need a car seat in your own vehicle for your child(ren), you will need to bring it to use in our vehicle.  We do not offer car seat for use or rent.    
  • Do you sell and install flags?
    • Unfortunately we do not so we can give our rental customers 100% of our focus and attention.
  • How do we get the vehicles to the dunes?
    • You drive them from our location a very short distance away to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.  We provide directions and all necessary information to make it an easy journey.  
  • Do you sell the stickers to get on the dunes?
    • No.
  • Are you still able to rent vehicles in the rain?
    • Yes!
  • Do you take a security deposit?
    • Yes, however it is returned the same day as long as the vehicle as returned in the same condition upon rental.
  • Do you take reservations?
    • Yes, to make a reservation we require a non-refundable payment of $50 per jeep and $100 per watercraft.  However, if you are unable to make your original reservation we will try to move your dates/times or provide you with a gift certificate.
  • How many people can sit in a jeep?  
    • 5 people maximum as their are only 5 seat belts and everyone needs to wear their seat belt.
  • How many people can fit on your boats?  
    • 7 and life vests are provided.
  • How many people can ride on a wave runner?
    • 3 and life vests are provides.
  • Can we bring drinks or a cooler?  
    • Absolutely!  However, alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles or on the dunes.  
  • Can we bring our pet with us in your vehicle?
    • Yes, we are pet friendly.
  • Is it safe for anyone to ride a jeep?  
    • No, we do not allow kids under 1 year old and do not recommend anyone ride that is pregnant, or has any back or neck issues.
